What did you think about episode 30 ?

Was the time travel/android THEME the most powerful???

So we have three different themes in the dragonballz series:

1. Space/alien theme: Basicly the universe is ruled by a freaky alien genotype who destroyes and enslaves ppl but still has some sort of concinsnce being displayed by being favorful towards the likes of vegeta, zarbon and ginyus!

So in this theme, the story revolves around space fighters having a head start by way of having superior genes/gravity then the protaginist and a leader who sells and buys planets to his father, other then that he doesnt really tamper with the universe as much!

2.Time travel/android theme: Okay where do we start...We have gokus driving instructor becoming a mad scientiest who createst machines and bio-creature that puts GOD to shame!!! and in the other spectrum we have a time machine, who in the wrong hands could and did some serious damages and create so many many turmoils!

3.Magic/demon theme: Just didnt do it for me for some reason! I mean the universe/space theme was badass and the time travel/android thing foresure upstaged it very very nicely in terms off going to the next level of "maginitude of the threats"

Although the magic/demon theme was the right idea going from technology to magic... the whole thing wasent very threatning at all! I mean I never felt like they used the dabura/demon angle right and the majin buu thing was such a strange villain/character but overall it was kinda like well ok where is the danger?

The magic theme wasent very powerful as the time travel theme since dbz magic failed to upstage the technology I felt!

Whats your thoughts???

I am sure a few of you may have heard of this game, if not all of you. I am looking at this more towards the Dev of Team Four Star and to show off the game as well.

Earth's Special Forces (ESF) is a modification of Half-life 1($10). Half-life 1 (One) (Uno) only costs $10 on steam and you will be able to play this game when it is released. This version right here is the Final version of the game. There are older playable games that aren't too active due to their age.

These are just previews of the game. There are many more other videos posted.

(Note: Apparently the topic was too long, breached the 10,000 character limit by only a few more thousand. So now I'll have to break it into two segments.)

This is serious discussion, and this is serious thread. I tried to gauge a campaign on craigslist... it didn't work. and the cragislist admin bastards kept deleting my threads. Even though I've seen plenty of stuff put in multiple categories, and I don't see how this couldn't qualify as "activities", "politics", "group", and "general".

One of the main issues I'm running on, is actually explaining the political process to people I meet. You'd be surprised how few understand it. Like everyone is talking about Mitt Romney. What shit did he do now? Or rather... what shit did he do in the past, and now we're digging up? He's a sociopath, we get it. American Psycho was the Mitt Romney documentary.

But this will shock people... we don't actually vote for the president. By "we", I mean "people not in government position". The senate and house floor vote for president. One such position I am running for.

How this ordeal works... is that in theory, the populace is well educated, makes a hobby out of keeping up with what their politicians are doing, and once they see their representatives and senators aren't voting for guys they would themselves, they dump them next term. That never happens though. Most people blindly go to the polls, barely knowing a thing about "the other guys", and end up electing people on gut feeling, or party lines... Let's face it, how much do you REALLY know about your local senators and representatives? Can you bare to watch CSPAN for fifteen minutes? Let alone doing actual homework on the voting record and verbal opinions of the people you're going to vote for?

That's a lot of work to do for a system that barely gives you any say at all. Our "republic" is less of a republic, and more like a multi-layered cake. Only the cake is a lie. A lie based off of popularity contests and keeping the people nice and stupid.

I have nothing to gain by you remaining stupid, therefore... we have a mutual benefit. I get political power, you get rid of the guys who have been lying to you since 1776.

First I'm going to break down the major aspects of government. The ones that effect your life directly with laws and taking the super organism known as "the nation" and "society" into one direction or another. Then I'll link you to my youtube series so you can hear me and all my crazy on a regular basis, and then we can discuss working with me on a campaign because I need people specifically of my state. Which is heavily populated, but you probably don't live in.

But regardless, you can help. Just positive support helps spread a good word, and might motivate people in my state. Everyone knows everyone by the third person right? Especially now with facebook and crap.

So here's the gist of the government branches...

STATE REPRESENATIVE: (This is what I'm running for)
Term period: Two years.
Term limit: Four times. (Eight years like president and senator, probably by design. But in different sequence to mix things up.)

State representatives are the think-tank. This isn't so much the position I desire, just the one I most qualify for. State representatives need only be occupants of their state for I believe four years, be 18 or older, and get enough signatures to be on the ballot. (Or pay a fee, but I'm too poor for that. I'm sure it isn't an extraordinary high fee... but if I had the money to viral myself like a normal politician, I wouldn't need to be doing this and would just pay the God damn fee.)

Anyway... state representatives are limited to two per state. Every state has two representatives, and despite the name... they hardly have anything to do with their state. Pretty much every bad idea government has, starts off with the state representatives. Squawking and their hair sticking up like a bunch of enraged chickens. There's dirt kicking, pecking, feces being dropped, and then they vote on said bad idea. If the vote goes through, it moves onto...

THE SENATE BRANCH:
Senators have a little bit of everything. Serving not only as the next in-line to decide if a bill is any good, they do other things like give consent for a president's supreme court judge picks. The senate is much more directly involved, and more or less just a buffed up version of a representative. So after the senate has delivered the okay to a bill, it goes to the...

PRESIDENT:
The one everyone wants to blame the world's problems on. I think this is really his only job and the rest is just semantics. But yes, the president can either sign or veto a bill. But vetoing is bad. Veto pisses off your concubines, and since they're the ones voting for you, not "the people", you better do as they say. You want to see a politician's true nature? Watch them during their last term, when they have nothing to lose. Then they veto everything, steal office supplies, and run up the electric bill. Why do you think all the really bad press only happens on a president's last term? To get you worked up and vote for the opposite party. But in reality, they're always doing what the rest of the branches want.

The president's only real power, is the ability to pick the supreme court. And even then it more or less requires permission of the senate.

SUPREME COURT:
This is where it's at. Whilst indeed it's a rare position to have. And only so often get to change anything about the law... Those lucky individuals who get it, essentially get to reinterpret the constitution over federal law to their will. And the worst part? It has no qualifications whatsoever. You don't even have to be an American citizen technically.

The only real criteria, is being liked enough by the president and senate to be selected. That's it. I'm surprised the supreme court isn't just slutty women with big titties, keyboard cat, and Steven Colbert.

The most rarely used, but most influential position... requiring getting out of the senate and president's friend zone... I can only dream of such power. But if I wanted to be a petty tyrant, and basically act like what a five year old thinks a politician acts like, I'd run for...

GOVERNOR:
Didn't think monarchy was legitimate form of modern political persuasion? Then you're clearly not paying attention. The governor can do anything. He doesn't need your approval to pass a law, he really could be in secret vetoing a bunch of stuff you would have liked. The laws you see on your state ballot per year are only a speck of what is received on his desk. Let's face it, most laws are just alterations of old ones. And people's attention spans are too short to concern themselves with raising the parking meters by five cents because of inflation and a desperate need for more revenue. But no one would vote for it because "mu'h money!!!"

So the governor runs his state like a king, twists federal law to suit him, and only need follow the ethical standards of the federal government just enough, not to receive a time out. Which in state government terms, is having your federal requisition cut off. This is why the whole civil war happened. Because a bunch of overly grown man-children states, no longer felt like they needed the federal daddy's allowance money or rules, and were banking on slavery, coal, oil, agriculture, and the exponential growth that would result from them. "You've outlived your usefulness" the south thought. And to this day there is still a lot of tension between federal government and state government. Federal government always trying to sneak in ways to limit state legislation without outright coming out and saying they're federalists and want to make this a federalist state. And state governments don't want to admit they're renegades for life, who think they don't have to answer to anybody, and once they have the keys to the car, they can drive their state right off a cliff.

Ironically? In America's early years... the president picked the governor. Not the people. "Democracy" is a relatively new concept in the west. Here we dumped tea into the ocean, killed red coats, and for what? So a bunch of rich white guys could tell us all what to do? Was that so unusual from before? Well it was if you were the 1%.

The history of America's "democracy" goes from.

Only land owners could vote. (Which conveniently was white, Christian, males)
Only white people could vote. (I "guess" we can let women vote... God!!!)
Only people of a certain age can vote. (While this might seem understandable. Remember they expect you to die for a war faster then you can vote for it.)
Former felons still can't vote. (And with a 30% prison rate... ah, I'm sure you'll be fine.)

And then there's that whole state debacle. Still doing everything they can to worm their way out of letting the common man have a say in something. Whether it be through a technicality, just invoking the "mu'h state, mu'h rules" clause, or just getting lazy and committing fraud and shit that's illegal ANYWHERE!!! We're not better then the countries we go to war with. We're just more tactful about it. Like a snobby mafia syndicate that talks in riddles and innuendo. Because somehow being "classy" about being lying, murderous, thugs makes us better then those that just do it and move on with their lives. Pro tip: It's the exact opposite.

And to think... there are at least five people here right now, fapping to Ron Paul pics. And he wants more states rights, more free markets so they can bribe err... I mean "lobby" congress, and wants to undo a lot of the federal regulations that have at least made our government accountable for their actions individually if not collectively.
